You may not have enough free margin to open a trade, especially if leverage is restricted. -
Leverage restrictions
Some instruments have reduced leverage during specific periods. For example, XAUUSD leverage is reduced to 1:100 from Friday 23:00 to Monday 02:00 (GMT+2), which may require higher margin. -
Market is closed
Trades cannot be placed when the market is closed or outside trading hours. -
Incorrect account type or symbol suffix
Please ensure you are trading the correct symbol:-
Cent (Rookie) accounts: symbols end with .c

Micro accounts: symbols end with .m

Logged in with an investor password
If you are logged in using an investor password, the account is in read-only mode and trading is not allowed. Please log in using your trading platform login password.
