Symbol Suffixes by Account Type

A symbol suffix is a letter added after an instrument’s name, indicating which trading account the instrument is being traded on. Suffixes vary depending on the account type and trading server.

Account Type Platform Suffix Notes & Example
Micro Account MT4 & MT5 m Instruments on the Micro server use the m suffix. Open new positions with symbols including the m suffix (e.g., USDJPYm, XAUUSDm).
Rookie (Cent) / Trading Pro Account MT4 & MT5 c Instruments on the new server use the c suffix. Symbols without c are restricted to close-only. Open new positions with symbols including the c suffix (e.g., USDJPYc, XAUUSDc).
Pro Account MT4 & MT5 None No suffix is required. Open positions directly without adding any suffix.
ScalpX Account MT4 & MT5 None No suffix is required. Open positions directly without adding any suffix.
